Biography :

Bro. Dunham is back, teaching full-time at the Mesa Institute, as of Summer of 2009. Bro. Dunham had been splitting his time between the Mesa Polytechnic Institute and the Mesa Institute. He has been a bishop and has held most callings in the church. He enjoys basketball, cycling, chess, photography and pool. He is excited that he gets to teach the gospel every day! Bro. Dunham currently serves on the governing board of Gilbert Public Schools and also teaches psychology on the main MCC campus. He and his wife, Cynthia, have four children, six grandchildren, and reside in Gilbert.

Biography :

Brother Hale and his wife, Nola, live in Gilbert and are the parents of 7 children and the grandparents of 17. Brother Hale is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and in his spare time he enjoys being a good husband, father, and grandfather; puttering in the yard and garden; hiking; fishing; and studying Church History and Doctrine. He has had many Church callings and is currently serving in his ward bishopric. Brother Hale is an ASU Institute graduate. Bro. Hale, a volunteer instructor, is teaching the first half of the Book of Mormon on Tuesday evenings in the fall of 2009.

Biography :

Brother Petramalo is married to Ruth Ann and they have 10 children, 3 grandchildren, with one on the way. He has taught with S + I since 1989; 9 years as a Seminary teacher and 11 years as an Institute instructor. He enjoys associating with all people. In his spare time, he enjoys his family, photography, woodworking, and genealogy. He currently serves as bishop of Mesa 61st Ward.

Brother Pratt, who has been teaching for the Spanish Institute, will switch to teaching for the Mesa Institute the fall of 2009! He will be teaching Missionary Preparation in English on Wednesday evenings!

Biography :

Bro. Richardson joined the faculty of the Mesa Institute in May of 2007. He previously taught seminary at Westwood Seminary and was an institute director in Calgary Canada. He has taught with S + I since 1995. Bro. Richardson and his wife Pat are the parents of 4 children and reside in Mesa.

Brother Whiting has been a businessman in the Valley for many years. He and his wife Mareen have 6 children and 17 grandchildren. Brother Whiting, who has served in many callings in the Church, enjoys spending time with his family and studying the Gospel. He has an extensive personal library of Church books. Brother Whiting, a volunteer instructor, will be teaching Isaiah on Wednesday evenings in the fall of 2009.

Biography :

Bro. Wilkinson has been director of the Mesa Institute since summer of 2004. He has taught with S + I since 1989; twelve years teaching seminary and eight years teaching institute. Church Service: Bishop, Bishopric, High Councilor, Stake YM President, Gospel Doctrine Teacher and Ward Mission Leader. He enjoys golfing, fishing, gardening, and traveling. He and his wife Sharolyn reside in Gilbert, AZ, and have five children.
