Biography :

Brother Bulloch has taught Seminary and Institute for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from CSU. He earned his Master's and Doctors degree's at BYU in Public School Administration. He married Kathryn Turner of Moab, Utah. They have 8 children. He served in the Central States mission. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. Brother Bulloch guides Church History tours.

		Terry FCalton

Biography :

Terry F. Calton was born in Billings, Montana and raised in Southern California. He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age 19 and served a mission in Veracruz, Mexico one year later. He has taught at the Missionary Training Center and as been with the Church Educational System since 1984. He and his wife were sealed in the Jordan River Temple in 1982. She served a mission in Sydney, Australia. Both have their undergraduate degrees in education from Brigham Young University and Brother Calton has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. They are the parents of five children. Both have served in many callings in the Church, most recently returning from Bolivia where they presided over the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission (2002 - 2005). Brother Calton presently serves on his Stake High Council.

		KerryHerbst

Biography :

Brother Herbst was born in Blackfoot, Idaho and raised in Southern California. He served in the Great Lakes Mission (Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio). He is married to Daphne Waldron and they have 11 children (6 boys and 5 girls) and two granddaughters. Brother Herbst's undergraduate and graduate work was in Ancient Near Eastern Studies at Cal-State University and Claremont Graduate School, and a Masters Degree in Education Leadership at NAU with Honors. Brother Herbst has worked for Seminaries and Institutes for 31 years as a seminary and institute instructor, institute director and seminary coordinator. Brother Herbst loves to read, play the part of a bibliothec and watch old movies with his family.

		Michael C.Hofeling

Biography :

"Brother Hofeling has been teaching in the Church Educational System for 15 years. Previous to his assignment here at the Tempe Institute at ASU he taught seminary in Show Low, Arizona, Winslow, Arizona, and Vernal, Utah. He has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from the LDS Business College, a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Weber State University, and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Utah State University. He is married to Patrice Merrill of Bountiful, Utah and together they have four children. The Hofelings love being a family and especially enjoy family night treats. Brother Hofeling teaches religion classes at the Institute as well as directing the Tempe Institute Choir. He has a deep love of music and would love to have many, many voices in our wonderful choir. In his spare time, he loves to read, play with his children, and hang out with his sweetheart, and play the bagpipes. Brother Hofeling has served in many callings in the Church and currently serves as a member of his stake's High Council."

Biography :

Kenneth Roland Lewis was born in Texas and was converted to the church in Heber; AZ. His parents joined a year later but his one and only sister hasn't joined yet. He graduated from Snowflake High School and served in the Korea, Pusan mission. He graduated from ASU and received a Masters degree from NAU. He and his wife, Adele Hatch, have six children, and three grandchildren. He has voluntarily jumped from three different airplanes. He likes to collect War books, old movies, and he has played paint ball for 7 years. He has been a Seminary/Institute Teacher for 30 years. He has been an EFY teacher many times and has taught at MCC, Red Mountain, and CGCC institutes; and now returns home to ASU, 30 years after graduating. Adele teaches Art History also at ASU. Bro. Lewis met and courted his wife here at the ASU Institute, you will receive extra credit in any class he teaches if you ask him about the courtship of Adele (it would be a great movie or maybe just a good sit-com).

		BobWold

Biography :

Brother Wold has taught Seminary and Institute for 30 years. He was born and raised in Long Beach, California and he and his father joined the Church when he was 14 years old. He served a mission in Southwest England and Wales. Before becoming a seminary teacher, he was a deputy sheriff in San Bernardino County, California for 6 years. He received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Redlands, and a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from NAU. He is married to Joyce Egan from Provo, Utah. They have 4 children and 19 grandchildren. He has served in many ward and stake callings, including Bishop. He is currently serving in the Tempe Arizona University Stake High Council, and he and Sister Wold are ordinance workers in the temple. He loves traveling and going on dates with Sis. Wold, being with his grandchildren, hiking the Grand Canyon, WWII aviation history, and since he grew up with his father who built race cars, he is a big fan of NASCAR and sprint car racing.

Biography :

Brother Wright grew up in the Provo area but received his BS from the University of Utah, MS from BYU (he considers that "dual citizenship") and his doctorate from the University of South Carolina. He taught and coordinated seminary and institute in Provo, Utah and Charlotte, North Carolina. He taught at Mesa Institute for five years before coming to Tempe Institute. His hobbies and interests are classical literature, music, sports (all kinds),classic movies and heavy drama (theater). The love of his life is his wife Kristi and spending time with their three children.
