Institute Faculty

Biography :
I was born in July of 1976 in Utah. I really enjoyed growing up near the mountains for both the camping and skiing. Growing up my family was very involved in music. I participated in several choirs in high school and eventually sung in the Concert Chorale at the University of Utah and the Colligate Singers Choir at Rick College. The most important thing that happened while attending Ricks however was not singing in the choir but meeting my wife Mandi. We have been married for 11 years and have three boys and a girl on the way. Before attending Ricks, I served a mission in Brazil. During that time I gained a love for teaching. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Utah while at the same time teaching early morning seminary though the pre-service program at the institute. I was hired to teach full-time seminary in 2000. Our most favorite experience in Seminaries and Institutes so far has been the 5 years we spent in Lovell, Wyoming. We have loved coming to know the youth and see the important choices they make in following the Lord. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
