Biography :
Brother Meiners was born in SLC, Utah and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He began attending BYU in 1978. After his freshman year, spent mostly skiing, he served a mission in Copenhagen, Denmark from 1979-1981. While finishing his degree at BYU he met and married Holly Walker in the Salt Lake Temple. The Meiners now have 5 children-4 sons and 1 daughter. Brother Meiners graduated with a BS in Zoology in 1983 and MA in Recreation Administration in 1986. Four days after receiving his Bachelors Degree he began a career in CES, teaching seminary. Brother Meiners is entering his 27th year of teaching for CES. Brother Meiners loves the outdoors, sports, the scriptures and spending time with his family doing anything, everything and even nothing. The Meiners moved to California in the Summer 2005. Brother Meiners loves his new assignment, especially the people he gets to work and associate with.
