Biography :
Brother Bohn grew up in Provo, UT and Danville, CA, the second in a family of 5 boys. Served in the Brazil Campinas mission from 1989-1991. While attending BYU he met Shawna Hopkins; they later married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple in 1992. Brother Bohn completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) from BYU in 1998. Brother and Sister Bohn have two boys (Kaden – age 12, and Jackson-age 8 [2009]). Employed by the Church Educational System since 1993. He taught Seminary at the high-school level for 13 years, and served as the Principal for three of those years. He currently is an instructor at and the director of the San Jose Institute of Religion. He also coordinates and trains Institute and Early Morning Seminary Teachers. Brother Bohn is a "student-focused" teacher. He believes participation (active student learning in class) and expectations from the students create some of the greatest environments of learning. He loves going on vacations (who doesn't:)) with his family. He enjoys good entertainment, trail riding, mellow hiking, working out, tennis, playing with his sons, and hot dates with his wife.
