Biography :

Brother David Hicken Garlick was raised in American Fork, Utah. He is the youngest of five children. He met his wife, Annette Blake in high school. He served a mission in the California, Oakland Mission. Brother Garlick and his wife Annette were married in the Manti, Utah Temple in 1989. They have six children three boys and three girls, Jessica (19), Nathan (17), Alison (15), MaKell (14), Jared (10), Dallin (8). He enjoys computers, wood working and making up songs on the guitar about his family. He graduated from BYU with an education degree and has a Masters in Educational Counseling. He taught elementary school for 5 years and has worked for the Church Educational System since 1996. He has taught release time seminary at American Fork High School, one year at BYU, and in addition to teaching at the best institute in the country (whoop!) he also coordinates the early morning seminaries for the College Station and Katy Stakes as well as the Huntsville Institute.

Biography :

Brother McMullin has been a teacher and administrator in the Church Educational System since 1972. He taught seminary and institute in Utah and Nevada before coming to College Station in 1990. He has also worked in the CES central office at Church Headquarters in Salt Lake City, where he helped write and produce videos now in use in CES classrooms worldwide. Brother McMullin served a mission to Munich, Germany. He and his wife, Ann, met at BYU and were married in the Salt Lake Temple nearly 36 years ago. They are the parents of four children and nine grandchildren. One of their daughters, Kellie, is married and is a stay-at-home mom living in Houston. Their two sons, Brian and Neil, are both married. Neil is a resident surgeon in the US Army, while Brian is an otolaryngology (ear, nose + throat specialist) resident in Wisconsin. Kristen lives in Utah and owns a wedding and portrait photography business. There are five Aggie rings in his immediate family and after living in Aggieland for over 18 years, Brother McMullin's blood is a full shade of maroon. From 1999 to 2005, Brother McMullin served as bishop of the College Station University Ward. He currently serves as 1st Counselor in the College Station Stake Presidency. For nearly 20 years, he has been a speaker and session director for EFY. His golf game is marginal and under construction.
