Welcome to the Lethbridge Institute of Religion, we are "50 Years and Growing"! Lethbridge has become the "Mormon Mecca" of Canada. We have students from every province in the nation! Lethbridge has 3 stakes and 7 Young Adult Wards. There is an Institute Bldg. located by the Lethbridge College as well as one located by the University of Lethbridge. Both Buildings have recently been renovated and provide a nice warm, comfortable environment for learning and relaxing. Students in the past have considered the Institute Buildings a home away from home. Real life begins at the Lethbridge Institute of Religion.

We invite you to register now for this semester. You may register online or walk into one of the Institute Buildings. The Institute by the Lethbridge College is located at 2808 - 28th Street South; the Institute by the University of Lethbridge is located at 50 Columbia Blvd. West. Our office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The Bldgs. are also open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for night classes.

- Building Rules
1. Building is to be vacated by 11:00pm.
2. All activities within the building are to be cleared through the Institute Faculty and booked through the Institute Secretary or Faculty member. Including Family Home Evening.
3. A young man and young woman are never to be left alone together in the building.
4. Those with keys are to lock the doors and close all windows before they leave.
5. Keys are NEVER to be loaned out to others.
6. The Pool table is NOT to be moved.
7. In the Spirit of member participation all those using the building are responsible for its cleanliness and maintenance. After each use everything is to be returned to its proper place. Carpets vacuumed + kitchen thoroughly cleaned (sinks, counters, appliances, floors, dishes put away.)
8. Thank you for helping maintain the security and attractiveness of the Institute buildings.
- Parking
A parking permit must be obtained from the Institute Secretary. Failure to have a parking permit will result in a City of Lethbridge Ticket. The parking permits are free but you must be enrolled and attending an Institute class. If you do not receive credit for an Institute class the previous semester you do not qualify for a parking pass.
- What is required to Graduate?
1) 14 Semester hours in approved Institute courses (one regular course is 2 semester hours). A) 8 of these semester hours must be in scripture based courses. B) 4 of these semester hours must be in Book of Mormon studies. C) 75% attendance is required in each course (make-up work may be arranged with the Instructor). 2) Students must request transfer of previous class credit from other Church Schools + Institutes. Please discuss any transfer credits with your local Institute Director. 3) Worthiness clearance from your Bishop.

- YSA Multi Stake Conference Begins
June 19 - 9pm
Meet + Greet Registration @ South Institute at 7pm. Location is 2808 - 28th Street South (Right behind the Lethbridge Stake Center which is located on Scenic Drive) $10.00 registration fee. GET REGISTERED; then socialize, eat snacks, play games on the field outside. The Dance will be outside at the Institute Bldg. or it may be moved to the Lethbridge Stake Center which is just down the road. - YSA Multi Stake Conference - LSC
June 20 -
Cost is $10.00 for the conference; payable at the door. Breakfast is from 8:30am to 9:20am at the Lethbridge Stake Center. 9:30 to 12:30 we will enjoy listening to 3 speakers. Lunch from 12:30 - 1:20pm. In the afternoon there will be a SERVICE PROJECT. At 6pm Kickball Tournament/Tailgate Party at the Lethbridge Stake Center.

If you are here from out of town please go to any young adult ward that you wish and then if you are still here in the evening there will be a Testimony Meeting at 7pm at the Lethbridge Stake Center.
