Welcome to InstituteWelcome to the Corvallis Institute! The Institute of Religion is a program of religious education provided by the Church Educational System for all Young Single Adults and all students whether single or married (ages 18-30 years). It is designed to help you succeed spiritually, socially and academically with others who have similar high ideals. Consider the Institute Building your "home away from home". There is a kitchen, library, and comfortable lounge, with foosball, air hockey, ping pong and pool tables. If you're up for real challenge, Brother Sherry will take you on in a ping pong match! The Institute building is home to the College Hill Singles Ward where the YSA students and non-students under 30 years of age meet for Sunday worship and week day activities. Sacrament Meeting begins at 10:30 AM here at the Institute, each Sunday morning. Come & join us - you will love it here!

  • Make yourself at home here!

    Our building is located on the NW corner of campus and is a warm and friendly place to visit, study, play some ping pong or eat between classes. We serve warm cookies on Tuesday mornings and a $1 lunch on Fridays at 11:30. We offer many classes during the day--we hope you'll jump in and join with us!

  • Parking at the Institute

    Parking here is FREE!! Free for students who are registered and currently attending an institute class. Get your parking sticker from Sister Cochran.

  • How to find a roommate

    If you would like to room with another Institute student, you can post a note on our bulletin board, or email the Institute and the secretary will post it for you. We have a housing coordinator who can also help people connect for housing.

    Sunday, November 22 - 7 pm
    These usually happen every 3rd Sunday--it's a great time to learn from Bishop Cole--enjoy meeting together with refreshments after.

  • Community Creche Exhibit, Dec. 4-6

    04 Dec 2006 - 1-8:30 pm
    This is the 15th annual and promises to be the very best yet. The theme is "Markets of the World" and features nativities from around the world. It is an excellent time to volunteer to help (300+ volunteers are needed) and a wonderful event to invite friends to. Each evening at 7 pm a choir from the community will perform. The display is open from 1-8:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No other activities will be held at the Stake Center during this week.
