• SNACK CUPBOARD IN FRONT OF SECRETARYS DESK!

  We like to provide a variety of snacks that can be purchased for just what it cost us. The Snack cupboard is located in the main hallway, in front of Sister Alvarados office. Bottled Water + Gatorade is for sale in the refridge of her office. Pay in the 1st drawer on counter. Price list is posted on glass window. We are sorry but we can not accept IOUs. You must pay for each item taken, when taken, please do not put extra money in the drawer and then think its okay to help yourself. We usually have some microwavable easy lunch items, such as cup of noodles, macaroni + cheese, mini lunch cups, tuna and crackers, as well as chips, crackers, granola bars, fruit cups, jell-o cups, and a variety of candy bars. Bottled drinking water(for only 40 cents) is kept cool in the refrig of secretarys office.

• STUDENT PARKING

  Due to limited space, only students who register and attend class regularly will be permitted to use the parking lots located behind the Institute building. Students who qualify may obtain a current hanging parking card from the Institute office. (Color and numbers change each semester so please return last semesters card). Students who only attend the night class will not need a parking permit, unless they plan to hang around during the day just for fun!

• NEED HOUSING? LOOKING FOR A JOB? WANT CHEAP BOOKS?

  Youll notice that one wall of the game room is a giant bulletin board. There are two sections: HOUSING and JOBS.

• PIANOS + other musical instruments

  We have two pianos in the Institute building which you are welcome to use as long as you remember to check the classrooms first to be sure that there is no class currently in session. When in doubt, please ask Sister Alvarado if you can play. We love to hear the music and encourage all those who play to do so. There have even been times when students have brought in their guitars and all have had a great time! We do have to remember that we are in a dedicated Church building and all music must be uplifting and of good quality and in accordance with Church policy. We cannot allow students to bring in CDs or Tapes that may not meet this standard, and ask to play them in the building.

• Missionary Couple- (Part Time)

  Elder and Sister DAY. They are here part time on Tues and Wed. nights from 5pm to 9pm to welcome the students and help with refreshments for the two evening Institute classes starting at 7pm. You will enjoy them both.
