- Winter Classes
Winter Quarter Classes have now begun. Register on line or just sign up when you come to class. There are many great classes offered so come join us. Please note that there is an Institute Choir offered this quarter for those who are interested in sharing their musical talents!
- Parking Passes
Parking passes are now available for the Winter Quarter. When parking at the Institute during the day you must have a parking pass. Passes are free to those who take an Institute class, just come to the office to register for one. There are two parking lots available, one EAST and one SOUTH of the building. The pass must be displayed from the rear view mirror when parking in either lot. Please park in the marked spaces only, no double parking or parking in the driveway or entrances. If you have any questions about parking please call the office at 614-291-5769.
- Single Student Wards
There are 2 singles wards in the Columbus area. Those living west of 315 are in the 2nd Ward and those who are east of 315 are in the 1st ward. Both wards meet in the Institute building for church on Sundays. For 2010 the 1st Ward meets at 9:00AM and the 2nd Ward meets at 1:00 PM.
- Married Student Ward
There is a married student ward in the Columbus area. For 2010 their meetings begin at 9:00 AM in the Columbus Ohio Stake Center on Doherty road.
- Lunches
The Tuesday and Thursday noon classes that are taught each week are accompanied by a free meal available to our Institute students. This is a great chance to feed "body and soul"!
- Monday Classes
4 Jan to 8 March - 5:30 to 6:30
5:30 to 6:30 Teacher-Scott Burton-An in depth study of the great and impressive writings of Isaiah.
- Tuesday Classes
5 Jan through 9 March - Various times
11:30 to 12:20 Teachers-Elder and Sister McKibben-A study of the Book of Mormon-Enos through Helaman 9. This is one of the 2 lunch classes that are offered during the week.
6:30 to 7:20 Sister McKibben will be directing the Institute Choir. Come share your talent.
7 to 8:30 Teacher-Bro. Burton-A study of the life of the Savior as found in the 4 Gospels continues from Fall quarter.
7 to 8:30 Teacher-Keith Smith-"Pearl of Great Price" An in depth study of this small but powerful volume of scripture.
7 to 8:30 Teacher-Gina Smith-"Doctrines of the Gospel" A study of the doctrines of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Wednesday Classes
6 Jan through 10 March - Various times
1:30 to 2:45 Teachers-Elder and Sister McKibben-"Doctrine and Covenants" A study of the D&C from the 1st vision through Section 40.
7:00 to 8:30 Teacher-Dan Hecht-"Great Sermons and Proclamations" Many of the great sermons found in the New Testament and Book of Mormon will be studied.
- Thursday Classes
7 Jan through 11 March - Various times
11:30 to 12:20 Teacher-Scott Burton-An in depth study of the great and impressive writings of Isaiah. This is the 2nd of our lunch classes that are offered during the week.
2:30 to 3:30 Teachers-Elder and Sister McKibben-A study of the Book of Mormon-1 Nephi through Words of Mormon.
