NEW TESTAMENT- Life and Teachings of Christ (Part 2) This class is a study of the life and teachings of the Savior as recorded in the four Gospels. It is a continuation of the class that was held in the Fall, however the Fall class is not a pre-requisite for enrolling in this class. GREAT SERMONS OF THE BOOK OF MORMON (Part 2) Instead of studying the stories and history of the Book of Mormon, in this class we will study the sermons given by great leaders in the Book of Mormon. The sermons studied will be from the second half of the book. PRESIDENTS OF THE CHURCH Elements from the life and teachings of each of the Presidents of the Church in this dispensation will be studied, beginning with the Prophet Joseph Smith. DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS - Themes in the Doctrine and Covenants. This class will be a study of messages that occur throughout the Doctrine and Covenants. Instead of reviewing the book chronologically by section, the approach will be topical, thus providing an opportunity to see the development of particular doctrines as new revelations were given. CHOIR/HYMNS This class will provide an opportunity to both sing the hymns and study the doctrines that are found in them. The emphasis will be on having an edifying experience in singing and discussing the messages of the hymns rather than preparing for performances.
